Regional Tournament

Entry into this tournament was to hopefully gain a place in the new Regional League in 2006. Day began well with wins over Grasshoppers B, Bridgenorth, Alfa Reds and Falcons. A lost to Nottingham Knights placed us in second place but in the top division for the afternoon. A win over Nottingham Knights bode well until GS Tanya Baker went down with a serious knee injury against Pennine. Tanya was taken to hopsital while the team battled on without a specialist shooter. Confidence and morale was low that we ended up in 6th place. This result ensures us a place in the Regional League - well done to the squad of: Amy Sampson (Captain), Tanya Baker, Sarah Mitchell, Leanne Webb, Justine Gore, Jemma Sampson, Julie Murphy, Rachel Edwards, chris Allison, Lynn Goodman and Caroline Payne.

Wellingborough -
Futureprint TMT's in Div 1
Futureprint Blues in Dev 2
Both teams play on either a Tuesday or a Thursday at the moment in the Handicap Tournament but at the end of January, Div 1 will be played on a Thursday and Div 2 on a Tuesday.

Northampton
Futureprint and Futreprint Juniors are both in Devision 1 and play on Sunday afternoons at Benham Sports Centre between 2.30 and 4.30pm.

Next Season
We are already looking forward to next season which we anticipate will be even more successful than this one. One new initiative is the introduction of an U18 squad that will train with the seniors. this should really help these talented younsters to reach their potential as they play and train alongside more experienced players.

Senior trials took place in September and we wish our current squad members all the best for the season.

Wellingborough League Tournament
Futureprint TMT's came 2nd... not bad after a series of injuries which left the squad somewhat depleted.

2005-6 will see Futureprint Blues back in the 2nd division of Wellingborough League headed by Sarah Vass... good luck to Sarah and the team!
